Help & support
Stuck on something? Email us — we read every message and reply by email. Send it from the address you sign in with, and if it’s about a design, say roughly when you made it.
Email support@modscaper.comTo report a design or a shared link, email us the link and we’ll look at it.
Signing in
There are no passwords. Enter your email and we send a 6-digit code to type in; it works for 10 minutes. If it hasn’t arrived after a minute, check your spam or promotions folder, then tap Resend code — only the newest code works, so use the latest email. Use the same email on every device and you’ll see the same designs.
How designs are counted
Every design you make uses one from your balance — that includes “Another take” and each tweak you apply. A “This isn’t my car” retry uses one too, and gives the first design back when it’s done (see below).
- No account: the free demo gives you 3 designs — no card.
- Free account: starts with 5 designs, no card. After that, whenever you’re below 3, it tops back up to 3 — at most once every 28 days.
- Pro includes 120 designs a month, and Shop 250. A plan’s designs reset each month and don’t carry over.
- Design packs never expire. Your plan’s designs are used first, then pack designs.
When you’re signed in, your balance is always shown at the top of the screen.
When a design fails
You aren’t charged for it. A design that fails goes back to your balance automatically, usually right away — there’s nothing to request. Occasionally the count takes up to a day to correct itself; if it hasn’t by then, email us. (This is for designs that don’t go through. If one comes out but isn’t what you wanted, try another style or a tweak.)
If your connection dropped while a design was being made, look in your saved designs before trying again: it may have finished. If designs keep failing, try a clear daytime photo with the whole car in frame, or email us.
When the AI changes your car
Every design is told to keep your car as it is apart from the mod you picked, but AI still slips now and then — a different model, different badges, a changed body. If a new design does that, tap This isn’t my car under it within 24 hours. We run the same settings again with an extra instruction to keep your exact car. The retry uses a design while it runs; when it’s done, the first design goes back to your balance, so it costs you nothing.
It works once per design (not on tweaks), up to 5 times in 30 days. After that, “Another take” is still there.
License plates
When you make a client link for a design or download it, we blur the license plates we can find — on the link, its preview images and the download. A plate at a steep angle, partly hidden or very small can be missed, so check before you share. Your own history keeps your photos as you took them. To turn it off, switch off Blur license plates when I share or download in Account.
Deleting a design
Open the design from your history and choose Delete design at the bottom of its page. It removes the photos, the design, its client link and any quote requests for it right away, and it can’t be undone. Deleting a design doesn’t add it back to your balance.
Quote requests (Shop plan)
On the Shop plan, your client links show a Request a quote for this build button. Your customer leaves their name, an email address or phone number, and an optional message. The request shows on that design’s page in your history. In Account you can turn the button off, and add a quote email, phone number and website for your links.
Requests are deleted when you delete the design or your account, and after 12 months. Once a request reaches you, you’re responsible for how you use the customer’s details — use them to answer that request.
Renders, parts and local laws
A design is a concept, not a quote or a fitment check: real wrap films, tint shades, wheel offsets and ride heights vary from car to car, so confirm the details with the shop doing the work. Rules for window tint, ride height, lighting and exhaust vary by state and country — check your local laws and a qualified shop before you buy or install anything.
Refunds
Bought in the iPhone app
Apple handles every refund for App Store purchases — we can’t issue them ourselves. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Bought on our website
Email support@modscaper.com from your account address and tell us what happened. We’ll look at it with you.
Restore purchases (iPhone)
Your designs belong to your Modscaper account, not your phone — sign in with the same email and they’re there. If a subscription you bought in the iPhone app isn’t showing, open Account and tap Restore purchases, using the same Apple Account you bought it with.
A design pack is added to your Modscaper account as soon as Apple confirms the purchase (usually within a minute), so it never needs restoring. If it hasn’t appeared after a few minutes, email us.
Cancelling a subscription
Cancel wherever you subscribed.
Subscribed in the iPhone app
Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Modscaper and tap Cancel Subscription, or open your App Store subscriptions. Apple bills these, so we can’t cancel them for you.
Subscribed on our website
Sign in at modscaper.com in a web browser, open Account and choose Manage billing.
Either way, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Your designs and any pack designs stay.
Deleting your account
Go to Account → Delete account. It removes your account, photos, designs, shared links and quote requests right away, and it can’t be undone. Remaining designs, including pack designs, are forfeited.
Deleting cancels a subscription bought on our website, but not one bought in the iPhone app — cancel that in Settings first so Apple stops billing you. More detail: modscaper.com/account/delete.
