Terms of Use

These terms cover Modscaper — the website at modscaper.com and the iPhone app. By using Modscaper, you agree to them.

1. The service

Modscaper turns a photo of a car into an AI-made concept of that car with the mods you choose. Designs are visualizations for inspiration and sales discussion only — not build plans, fitment guides or engineering documents, and not a promise of how a part, film or finish will look on your car. Actual results depend on the vehicle, the parts and materials used, and the shop doing the work.

Build sheets list what a design appears to show. They’re suggestions to check with a qualified shop, not a fitment or compatibility check.

Mods aren’t legal everywhere. Rules for window tint, ride height, lighting, exhaust and other modifications vary by state and country, and a design can show something that isn’t street-legal where you live. Modscaper doesn’t give legal advice — check your local laws and a qualified shop before you buy or install anything.

2. Accounts & fair use

You sign in with a code sent to your email, so keep that inbox secure. One free trial per person. Don’t resell access, automate bulk generation beyond your allowance, or try to get around design limits (for example with extra accounts). We may suspend accounts that do.

3. Your photos & your designs

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and confirm you have the right to use them. You may use your designs commercially — customer presentations, quotes and marketing your own services. Designs made on the free plan carry a small Modscaper watermark; Pro designs don’t; Shop designs can carry your shop name.

Don’t upload anything unlawful, sexual, hateful or meant to harass anyone. We may remove content and turn off shared design links that break these terms. To report a design or a shared link, email support@modscaper.com with the link.

Quote requests. On the Shop plan, customers can send you a quote request from your links. Use their details only to answer that request, and follow the laws that apply to you — for example on contacting people and marketing to them. If you send a quote request to a shop, your details go to that shop, which is responsible for how it uses them.

4. Billing

Where you buy decides who bills you and how you cancel.

In the iPhone app (App Store)

  • Purchases are charged to your Apple Account by Apple.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged in the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We can’t cancel App Store subscriptions for you.
  • Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Deleting your Modscaper account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it with Apple as well.
  • Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iPhone app.

On our website

  • Purchases are billed through our payment processor.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel or update payment details any time in Account → Manage billing on the website.
  • Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Either way

  • A plan’s designs reset each month and don’t carry over.
  • Designs from a one-time pack never expire.
  • When a paid plan ends, your account moves to the free plan and keeps everything you’ve made.
  • If a design fails, it isn’t counted — it goes back to your balance automatically.
  • If a new design changes your car, “This isn’t my car” runs it again once for free within 24 hours of making it (up to 5 times in 30 days): the retry uses a design, and the first one goes back to your balance.
  • Deleting a design doesn’t return it to your balance.

5. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is.” AI output can be imperfect or inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before a claim. We are not liable for decisions made, parts bought, or work contracted, based on generated designs.

6. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
