Delete your Modscaper account

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Sign in at modscaper.com/login (or open the Modscaper app).
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Delete account, choose Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, read “What happens to billing” below first.

Or ask us to delete it

Email support@modscaper.com from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We action these within 30 days and reply when it’s done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details
  • Every car photo you uploaded and every design generated for you, including the plate-blurred copies made for sharing
  • Your design history, build sheets, and any shared links (which stop working immediately)
  • Quote requests customers sent you from your shared links, and your shop contact details
  • Remaining designs, including purchased packs — these are forfeited, not refunded

What happens to billing

  • Subscribed on the website: your subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion, so you are not charged again.
  • Subscribed in the iPhone app: deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. Apple bills it, and only you can cancel it — in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or manage your subscriptions. Until you do, Apple keeps charging you. Cancelling before you delete is the easiest way not to forget.

Payment records already created are kept by the companies that processed them — our payment processor for website purchases; Apple and our in-app purchase service for iPhone purchases — for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete those.

What we keep, and for how long

Besides the payment records above, a few things outlive your account:

  • Usage records. Our log of events such as “a design was made”, “a design failed” or “a plan was bought”, with the time and details like the style picked, keeps each record but removes your account from it, so it’s no longer linked to you. A few also hold a scrambled (one-way) code made from the network address you used, never the address itself. We don’t currently delete these on a schedule.
  • Our internal alert emails. When something goes wrong with an account, or one is deleted, we get an email that refers to it by its account ID — a random code, not your name or email address — and sometimes the ID of a design or a payment record, or the words typed into a design request the AI refused. These stay in our mailbox.
  • Emails you sent us stay in our support mailbox.
  • Our providers’ own logs. The services that host the app, handle sign-in and deliver email keep their own records — for example, that a sign-in code was emailed to your address — for as long as their policies say.
